James is a seasoned professional in healthcare risk management, known for spearheading national site development campaigns for healthcare corporations. His expertise spans development, licensing, and management of behavioral health facilities, backed by a successful track record and a deep understanding of the sector. James is also recognized for his strategic planning abilities and leadership skills. James has a passion for helping others in the addictive disorders and mental health industry. He is a contributing donor to the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers and a supporter of the National Endowment for the Arts. In his spare time, he is an avid golfer.
Frank Severino
Frank Severino | Chief Marketing Officer
Frank Severino brings over 30 years of leadership experience as the Chief Marketing Officer at Sycamore Behavioral Health. Frank leads the marketing and advertising for Sycamore Behavioral Health’s companies which include Magnolia City Detox and First City Recovery Center. Frank holds a BS in Business Management from Western Illinois University, where he played football, giving him an early start for success by building character, leadership, teamwork, and resilience. In addition, Frank attended American University in Washington, DC and received a certification in Executive Management and Leadership.
Prior to joining SBH, Frank worked in strategic business development and is a notable industry leader having grown operations and revenue for multiple, nationwide treatment centers. Frank is a servant leader, dedicated to helping individuals achieve success and reach their full potential. His greatest strengths are his keen sense of operations and his knowledge of the ins and outs of the treatment industry including compliance, the latest policies, insurance carriers, accreditation, and ethical procedures. Frank possesses a strong business acumen with proven solution-based marketing and business development methods that expand the company’s reach and success. Frank’s expertise, positive attitude, and genuine passion for behavioral health, makes him a valuable asset to the SBH and several non-profits’ organizations he is proud to be a part of. He currently resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and three sons. In his spare time, Frank enjoys boating, golf, travel and networking with fellow leaders and industry peers at various conferences around the country.
Stuart Wood
Stuart Wood | Chief Financial Officer
Stuart Wood is the CFO of Sycamore Behavioral Health. He is a certified public accountant and graduated from Indiana University Kokomo with a degree in accounting and finance. Stuart started his career in public accounting before entering his current role as CFO. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of all aspects of Sycamore Behavioral Health’s strategic planning, accounting, forecasting, and budget management. Stuart develops and manages the operating budget, oversees the coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization, and reports to the CEO and Board of Directors in regard to assessing strategic growth opportunities as the company continues to scale.
Jacqueline Lazzaro
Jacqueline Lazzaro | Compliance Director
Jacqueline is a highly qualified and experienced Compliance Director at Sycamore Behavioral Health Group, where she has been instrumental in the development and carrying out of innovative client programs and services. With over nine years of experience in the behavioral health field, Jacqueline is a respected leader dedicated to enhancing the lives of those battling mental health and substance abuse disorders. As our Executive Director, she oversees First City Recovery Center, ensuring regulatory compliance, utilization, effective interpersonal relations, and quality client care.
Jacqueline is an expert in developing programs and evaluation, quality enhancement, and staff training and development. She has committed herself to ensuring that the First City Recovery Center exceeds state and Joint Commission requirements and standards, and has a track record of meeting all specifications, standards, and measurable outcomes.
Jacqueline’s motivational leadership inspires the First City Recovery Center team to continue striving for excellence in service and care. She thrives in going above and beyond to ensure that all clients receive the utmost quality of compassion, services, safety, and care.
Breanna Schwartz
Breanna Schwartz | Director Of Human Resources
Breanna holds the esteemed position of Director of Human Resources at MCD.
Originally hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, she now calls Austin, Texas home.
With a background in the behavioral health industry spanning five years, Breanna has dedicated herself to aiding individuals from all walks of life on their recovery journeys. Her passion for Human Resources and Compliance blossomed during her tenure as a behavioral healthcare consultant, where she discovered her true calling. Breanna brings a wealth of expertise in human resources management and compliance, focusing on creating a workplace environment that is not only positive but also inclusive.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Breanna cherishes moments with her husband and daughter. You will often find her exploring the vibrant restaurant scene in Austin or connecting with friends. In every aspect of her life, Breanna embodies a commitment to excellence and a genuine love for fostering meaningful connections.
Cassidy Marryott

Contributing her expertise to the organization for a period of two years. Cassidy serves as an integral part of the team. She assists leadership with various projects, coordinates with vendors, and schedules important day to day functions. A native of Sarasota, Florida, Cassidy pursued her education in business at the esteemed University of Central Florida.
Over the course of her tenure with Sycamore Behavioral Health, Cassidy has demonstrated a profound commitment to the field of behavioral health, deriving immense satisfaction and motivation from her experiences. She consistently engages in ongoing learning endeavors and adeptly integrates newfound knowledge into her daily professional activities. Cassidy currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoys her personal time with her canine companions.
